Why carbon offsetting?
At Pluginvest, we believe that awareness and action go hand in hand. Therefore, we not only take responsibility for our CO2 emissions, but actively seek to reduce and neutralise this impact.
Carbon offsetting or carbon ofsetting aims to reduce net CO2 emissions. The idea is to offset emissions that cannot be completely avoided by investing in sustainable projects elsewhere. This includes supporting initiatives such as renewable energy, forest conservation, and sustainable agriculture.
Choosing to offset our CO2 emissions by using the services of 'Trees for All' and their sustainable project in Bolivia is a concrete step in our commitment to a greener future. We believe companies have a responsibility to bring about positive change, and this conviction drives us to actively contribute.
How do we offset our CO2 emissions?
We offset CO2 by using the non-profit organisation Trees for All and use their handy calculator to work out exactly how much CO2 we need to offset.
Trees for Allis a Dutch non-profit organisation that has been committed to global forest protection and promoting sustainable development for 25 years. They are dedicated not only to planting trees, but also to creating social and economic impact. Their projects span the globe.
