Three new EV models by BYD on the Belgian market starting from October
BYD will launch three new electric models in October and will try to knock Tesla off its throne in the Belgian and European market. With no less than 638.000 models sold in China in the first half of 2022, the enormous growth of BYD cannot be underestimated. They also ran a pilot project in Norway, where 2,500 models were sold in one year. So Tesla should start taking this new competitor into account indeed!
The new models
Below are the most important specifications that we will probably see on the Tang, Han and Atto 3 models, that will be available in Belgium from October. All of them will of course also be compatible with the current charging stations in our range.
BYD Tang
The BYD Tang is a very spacious EV which can accommodate 6 people in a 2 + 2 + 2 formation. With all the latest technologies, you can be sure that you can transport yourself from point A to point B comfortably and in a user-friendly environment. This Sedan model, with its stylish curves and sleek interior, will be the highest-performance model of the three models coming to the Belgian market.
