Bpost, Belgium's national postal company, embraced sustainability by electrifying their fleet of postal vans. In 2016, they chose Pluginvest's expertise to develop and implement comprehensive charging infrastructure for their growing fleet of electric postal vans.
The goal was to install more than 800 charging points across 19 Bpost locations across Belgium. The challenges of this project include charging a large number of postal vehicles in locations with limited available power. With the requirement of two daily recharges, Bpost had to find a solution that was both flexible and efficient.
Short intervention times
Due to the crucial nature of mail delivery, Pluginvest was always available for
quick interventions
. A top level SLA was agreed, which meant Pluginvest was always ready to solve charging infrastructure problems within six hours.
