Power
The recent version of the BMW X1 xDrive30e plug-in hybrid features a battery with a capacity of 18 kWh. This results in an autonomy of 78 kilometres. Moreover, the possibility of refuelling the car with petrol offers an extended range.
Charging the BMW X1 xDrive30e's battery can be done in several ways. Although the slowest process, charging via a wall socket is an option. A more efficient method is to install a charging station or wallbox at home or at work, allowing the battery to be charged during periods of non-use. For travelling, it is also possible to charge the battery at public charging stations. However, it is important to note that the BMW X1 xDrive30e plug-in hybrid cannot be charged via a DC fast charger, just like the majority of plug-in hybrid vehicles.

Suitable charging stations
Pluginvest recommends installing a single-phase, 7.4kW charging station both at home and at work. However, it is interesting to already purchase a more powerful charging station (e.g. 3-phase to purchase 11kW or 22kW) and thus already be ready for your future all-electric car (with more charging power). If you are also interested in charging on the road, Pluginvest recommends to purchase a charge card for public charging stations.
Alfen Eve Single Pro
The Eve Single Pro-line is a smart charging solution and is optimally suited for private and semi-public locations.
