Summer is coming and for many Belgians this means that they travel by car. According to the latest figures, 4 out of 10 cars sold are now fully electric (source: FEBIAC). So for many people, going on a trip with an EV is a new experience. We have created 2 popular holiday destinations that are 'EV-friendly' by mapping out a route with plenty of charging stops on the way. We also give some tips and tricks to get around with your electric car as comfortably as possible. So you don't have to worry about the battery level of your car and you can enjoy your journey to the fullest.
We are using a Tesla Model Y, as this was the most sold car in Belgium in 2022. It has an average range of 310 kilometres, but the range can of course vary due to weather conditions or your personal driving habits.
All charging stations we propose are publicly accessible, have long opening hours and are usable with the PluginvestCharge@Public laadkaart.
